Caters to all patient clientele across the life course (i.e. from womb to tomb), regardless of  age/sex/SOGIE/organ system involvement . Renders holistic and comprehensive care, covering a myriad of undifferentiated  primary/ambulatory/non-urgent cases, including provision of psychosocial support for  higher units of care to include the family and the community 

Achievements

Accredited training program by the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians. 100% passing rate on all residents’ exams given by the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (PAFP). Consultants are authors of different researches presented and acknowledged both locally and internationally

SERVICES & Specialization

The DFCM offers clinical exposure to different sub-specialty disciplines for its residents,  including:

  1. Supportive Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  2. Toxicology
  3. Geriatrics  and Gerontology
  4. Primary Care Diabetology
  5. Infectious Diseases and Tropical  Medicine. 

One of the newest services of UERM is the Supportive Hospice and Palliative Medicine  (SHPM). The SHPM service is committed to providing compassionate support for patients  facing serious illnesses and their families. We focus on enhancing quality of life through  comprehensive care that addresses physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. This is a  specialized approach to care geared towards giving comfort and achieving the best quality  of life possible to individuals with serious life- limiting illnesses and their families

Future plan to establish an Animal Bite Center (ABC) coordinated with the Quezon City LGU
