Celebrating almost 50 years of history, the Department of Clinical Neurosciences plays a vital role in advancing both patient care, teaching, training and research in the field of neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
The department comprises the Sections of Neurology and Neurosurgery and ensures that patients receive comprehensive care for a wide range of neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumors. Neurosurgeons may perform surgeries to treat conditions like brain injuries or spinal cord problems.
The Department of Clinical Neurosciences has fully accredited residency training programs in Adult Neurology and Neurosurgery and is composed of Neurologists and Neurosurgeons who are exceptional, dedicated and passionate teachers and mentors in the College of Medicine and the residency training programs.
