QUALIFICATION AND PROMO MECHANICS
- The Delivery Packages include the procedure fee, supplies and medicines, doctors’ professional fees on surgery. This package offers two delivery types: the Normal Spontaneous Delivery (NSD) and the Caesarean Section (CS) Delivery.
- The packages are available for all individual patients ages 18 years old and above.
- Patients with other pre-existing conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes) and obstetric complications will be subject for furtherance test will be charged separately for the tests that need to be performed and medications that need to be administered.
- Preterm and post-term deliveries are not eligible to avail the package.
- Cardiopulmonary (CP) clearance is not included in the package and should be done separately either through inpatient or outpatient basis. Any patient who does not pass the CP clearance will not be eligible to avail the package.
- Further, the promotional discount or free items or services are not convertible to cash, other discounts or other items.
- Any additional supplies or medicines in excess of the items included in the package will be separately charged to the patient with a 10% discount. Furthermore, any complications and extra medical intervention that may arise throughout the duration of the confinement of the patient using the medical package will be charged separately with a 10% discount.
- Patients must be admitted in a Regular Private room depending on the availability. Otherwise, the procedure will be billed on an itemized basis.
- Patients availing the package rate after Philhealth must meet all the criteria and requirements of Philhealth’s benefit eligibility requirements. In case of disapproval, the original package rate will be applied.
- The PhilHealth benefit of the patient will be deducted upon discharge, provided all PhilHealth requirements and/or documents have been accomplished and presented.
- The NSD package includes the following:

- Room and Board Accommodation: Regular Private for 2 days
- Delivery room charges (for mother)
- Post-operative care (for mother)
- Postnatal services for baby: Newborn screening, hearing test, Hepatitis B Vaccine, Vitamin K, BCG
- Welcome Kit for Baby
- Celebratory Meal (for mother)
- The CS package includes the following:
- Professional Fees: OB-Gyne, Anesthesiologist and Pediatrician
- Room and Board Accommodation: Regular Private for 3 days
- Operating (Delivery) room charges (for mother)
- Post-operative care (for mother)
- Postnatal services for baby: Newborn screening, hearing test, Hepatitis B Vaccine, Vitamin K, BCG
- Welcome Kit for Baby
- Celebratory Meal (for mother)
- The following shall be charged as add-on itemized pricing over the package price, wherein the price shall be dictated by room rate (for inpatients) or by outpatient rate (for outpatients):
- Other medicines, supplies, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures consumed but not included in the package (either in kind, brand, or excess quantity).
- Any additional charges due to complications and extra medical intervention that may arise throughout the duration of the confinement of the patient using the medical package
- In case the patient opts not to proceed with delivery at UERM due to any of the following: change of mind, or unexpected delivery elsewhere (e.g., in the province), a 10% administrative fee will be charged, based on the total paid amount of the maternity package.
- For miscarriage, the paid amount for the maternity package shall be fully refunded to the patient. For stillbirth, the full amount of the maternity package shall be charged, and no refund shall be issued.
